Q: Is the cost per passenger?
A: The price is per boat, no worries! Most of our boats will hold up to 10 passengers without the captain so not only do you get to share the fun, but you can share the cost as well.
Q: How much is the Security Deposit to drive the boat?
A: $300, but we will not charge the card unless you damage the boat.
Q: How much does a Captain charge?
A: Captain’s Fee is $160 for half a day. $300 for the full day. You must sign a contract & pay the fee directly to the Captain.
Q: What other fees do I need to pay aside from Rental Fee & Captain’s Fee?
There is no additional fees to pay.
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located at 1975 Calais Drive, Miami FL 33141… but don’t worry, we’ll swing by to “boat you up”!
Q: What should I bring?
A: Government issued ID with birth date clearly visible, a credit card for guarantee, and cash for gratuity (optional) for the Captain; Smiles, bathing suits, towels and sunscreens are always recommended.
Q: Does a school ID count?
A: No…sorry!
Q: Can I bring food & drinks aboard?
A: We provide a cooler with ice on-board to store you drinks and snacks. Any beverages and food are your responsibility, so a trip to the grocery store may be required. Glass is not allowed on board.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Yes, we like dogs, even though ours does not like going on the boat.
Q: Where to lock items?
A: Our boats have plenty of storage underneath the seats.
Q: What if I don’t know how to swim?
A: You are not required to know how to swim. We’ll provide proper life jackets prior to boarding the boat should if you need one. We don’t want anyone to drown, so there are always lifejackets onboard for anyone who may need them (except for the dog)!
Q: What will a Captain do aside from driving the boat?
A: Captain’s work as a “private chauffeur”, if you have planned your trip, the Captain will follow it. If not, the Captain will suggest an itinerary according to your schedule time frame.
Q: What do I need to go fishing?
A: The state of Florida requires children over 16 years of age and seniors under the age of 65 years of age A RECREATIONAL FISHING PERMIT. You may obtain a fishing permit online by going to https://www.gooutdoorsflorida.com
Q: Where can I go with the boat?
A: NORTH up to Haulover Sandbar & SOUTH 1/4 mile before the Florida Cape Light House in Key Biscayne Park.
Q: Can I take the boat to Elliot Key.
A: Elliot Key is outside of Miami so the same rules apply as above.
Q: Can I rent a boat out at night?
A: to be discussed ahead of time.
